Zelené pleso - a moraine lake located in the eastern part of the High Tatras in the Zelené pleso valley. Is one of the most beautiful and frequently visited lakes in this mountain region. Although the route to Zelené pleso is quite long, it belongs to the category of moderately difficult hikes in the Tatras. The famous Jastrabia Tower rises above the lake. Next to the lake is the Chata pri Zelené pleso . The most frequently used route to Zelené pleso is from the Biela voda stop (approx. 3 hours). Approximately 30 minutes from Zelené pleso is Veľké Biele pleso (1615.4 m above sea level). From Biele pleso it is possible to go to Chata Plesnivec (1 hour 15 minutes), or to Tatranské Matliare (2 hours 30 minutes)
