The stone cottage is the third highest mountain hut (over lynx and Tery cottage in the High Tatras), located at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level on the main ridge of Low Tatras, just below the top Chopok. Access is possible to all sides. From the north, from ski-tourist center Jasna, it is possible to pass all the way as a tourist hike or cable car.
