When we were putting together the drinks menu for our resort, we were clear about one thing from the beginning: we want to show you the best of Slovakia and our vineyards. We often look beyond our borders to famous French or Italian wines, but we forget that world-class treasures are literally right under our noses.

Our wine list is a tribute to Slovak winemakers who put not only their knowledge, but also their heart into each bottle.

Our philosophy: Quality over quantity

We decided to follow the path of honest craftsmanship . In our offer you will not find mass-produced wines that you can buy in every supermarket. We focus on smaller wineries with tradition, where quality is more important than the number of bottles sold.

We have personally selected them, according to our own preferences and tastes. We stand behind every single variety we pour for you, and we know exactly why it has a place on our menu.

Wineries that you can taste with us

We have compiled our offer from the jewels of the Little Carpathian and South Slovak wine-growing regions :

• Purus (Modra): A family winery and representative of the Little Carpathian tradition in a modern guise. Their wines are clean, elegant and reflect the unique character of the Modra terroir.

• Velkeer (Veľký Kýr): A family winery from southern Slovakia that has won us over with its precision and freshness. Their style is unmistakable and full of sunshine.

• PD Mojmírovce: Proof that even cooperative winemaking can produce top-notch, award-winning wines with great respect for the land and tradition.

• Mrva & Stanko: A name that needs no introduction. A symbol of the Slovak wine revolution, which has long held the bar of quality extremely high.

Dynamic offer hand in hand with the season

The world of wine is a living organism. In order to always bring you something new, we cooperate and select wines from the portfolio of the supplier Provino . Their sales representative and sommelier, Marek Hvolka , is our key advisor. Together with him, we regularly change and supplement the wine list according to the season – in summer we look for lightness and fruitiness, in winter for depth and structure.

"Our goal is to have a menu that covers different taste directions. We want to satisfy the guest who loves a fresh Riesling, but also the one who is looking for a powerful red wine."

Mília - PD Mojmírovce

White, semi-sweet. A unique Slovak new breed, created by crossing the Müller Thurgau and Traminer varieties, which offers an exceptionally aromatic profile full of muscat and spicy notes with a fine residual sugar.

Mine & Yours - Purus

White, semi-dry. A fresh cuvée, made up of 80% Mϋller Thurgau and 20% Moravian Muscat. Both varieties grown on granite soil with a sandy texture.

Riesling - Purus

White, dry. The wine is full, intense, the entire aroma is carried in tones of linden blossom, delicate citrus and juicy apricot.

Chardonnay - Mrva&Stanko

White, dry. The world's most popular white grape variety, which stands out for its adaptability to terroir, thanks to which, in addition to apple and citrus tones, you can also find a typical buttery or nutty aftertaste.

Sauvignon blanc - Velkeer

White, dry. Greenish color, light, unobtrusive aromas of sweet gooseberries and freshly cut grass with a drop of lime, straightforward, fresh and citrus-gooseberry in taste with a pleasant juicy finish.

Three Roses - Velkeer

Pink, semi-dry. The basis for this cuvée is Blue Frankovka and Cabernet Sauvignon, which is complemented by the variety for which the given vintage was the most successful. A cuvée of the three best rosé wines from the vintage. The aroma is fruity-creamy with a hint of rhubarb, the taste is dominated by juicy citrus tones on a strawberry base. The finish is long, juicy and sweet.

Frankish blue - Velkeer

Red, dry. The most widespread blue grape. The varietal fruitiness of plums and blackberries is in tandem with a pleasant cinnamon-spicy line. In taste, it does not conflict with the manifestation of sour stone fruits, especially sour cherries. The body of the wine is lighter and delicious. An acidic finish full of fruit with light tannin.

Danube - Purus

Red, dry. Slovak blue new breed. It is a cross (Muscat Bouchet x Oporto) x Svätovavrinecké. The wine is ruby in color with subtle purple reflections. The aroma is a bit obscure at first, but after a breath in the glass, chocolate-cherry tones are released. The taste is similar to southern-type wines, the tannins are softer and the aroma of cherries and blackberries dominates.

Become a sommelier for a while

We want you to not only drink wine, but also learn about its story. That's why we have prepared regular wine tastings (once a week) for you during the main season (summer and winter).

During these evenings, we will summarize all the important information, talk about the origin of the grapes and taste a selection from our menu together. It is an ideal opportunity to learn something new and find out why Slovak wines are truly world-class.
